My condolences on Joe. We have some old sheep here. One especially will be 13 if she makes it to spring. It’s hard to see her frail and doddery, but we’ve had the right to self determination battle over and done last spring. She has accepted being in a smaller paddock with a few of her daughters rather than out with the whole bunch in the field. She’s blind now and has accepted that and does pretty well in the restricted context.
3 others were failing and we made the decision to spare them the rigors of winter. I miss them all.
